Managing Partner

Artrac Technology, Grafton, MA

2010 - Present


Mr. Eastin specializes in being a provider of technology solutions that designs, implements and maintains effective, practical solutions for tracking, inventory management, security and conservation of high-value cultural assets as art, artifacts, sculpture, rare books, rare wine, jewelry, weapons, and collectibles. Through innovative coupling both active and passive RFID along with data capture technologies, integrating state of the art asset management software, and linking solutions to the clients’ communications network and existing enterprise software systems, the Mr. Eastin enabled his clients to track valuable assets in storage, on exhibition, and in transit. While managing Sales and Marketing at RFID Global Solution (2007-2010) Mr. Eastin lead a new line of business in the start-up division in Eldersburg, MD. During his time at RFID Global Solution, Mr. Eastin delivered ID and tracking solutions which included custom design software, integrating hardware with off the shelf and custom software, along with installation of RFID visibility systems. Clients included the Department of Defense (DoD) Federal Departments and Agencies as well as State Governments and the Aerospace Industry.


Director of Label Development


2006 - 2007


Directed the Certified RFID Label Converter Program. Directing and managing the channel partner business arrangements and contracts, along with execution of financial modeling and opportunity analysis, he expanded and strengthened strategic partner alliances and relationships. He executed product and market development of RFID tags, inlays, and labels, additionally implementing a product assurance program Certifying eighteen North American label converters and two Asian label converters, as well as five 5 molded tag converters. As the Director of Label Development for Matrics (1999 – 2003) he led a research and development team directing the development of the PICA UV cure high-speed RFID inlay assembly.


Business Development Manager

FLEXcon, Inc.

1995 - 2000


Participating on a hybrid sales/technical team tasked with the development of an EAS/RFID product line derived from intellectual property in custom metal coating. The multifarious project included selecting and installing equipment, determining product and process capabilities, performing processing trials and matching capabilities to rigid customer specifications and user criteria Leveraging six different new product line Mr. Eastin networked FLEXcon into channel alliances of major RFID and EAS solutions providers.



Vice President

Bemis Company, Inc.

1974 - 1995


Mr. Eastin held a variety of management positions at MACtac, a division of Bemis Company Inc., from 1974 to 1995. MACtac was a major competitor in the pressure sensitive materials industry. He held factory floor management responsibilities supervising over 400 employees. He also held positions in marketing and sales management managing a national sales force, marketing department and technical marketing for the Roll Products Division. He had P&L responsibility representing 50% of MACtac’s revenue and 25% of the net profit. In addition,
