What is One Time Pad Encryption?

One Time Pad Encryption is a very simple, yet completely unbreakable cipher methodology. It has been used for decades within military electronic cipher systems, encrypting personal sensitive data, high capacity secure storage media, continuous key protection, as well as, offering outstanding message security without sacrificing convenience and overhead.
 
What are Touch Access Portals / Points?

A TAP could be either “passive/active” electronic device or 2D barcode with key-secured communication with the Matrics2 Secure Data Base (SDB), which serves as a Secure Portal (SP) to the SDB, referred to as a TAPs. A TAP can be a key-secured smartphone, or a key-secured portals associated with an ATM, gas pump, cash register, card reader, or any other such device that could provide financial transaction services.

TAPs can:

1. Provide a secure key for “one-time pad” symmetric secure communication between parties.

2. Provide for transferring payment or other financial transactions including block-chain-secured electronic currency.

3. Provide for the secure management of a network of devices, such as for home automation.

A TAP can also be a “passive” label attached to any product or item, which receives operational power from the smartphone NFC reader magnetic field or the smartphone optical scan capability that enables the phone to retrieve a Random Number (RN) from the TAP, which is unique only to that TAP.

A label TAP can comprise of an Integrated Chip (IC) with a laser programmed read-only memory for its unique RN attached to a small (less than one-half square inches) antenna substrate, for a total label price of less than three cents. It can also be an optically read 2D barcode digitally printed or laser ablated for less than two cents.

The eventual number of TAPs will eventually equal that of barcodes which are approximately two trillion per year. The total costs for TAP labels to the product manufacturing industry would be $6.64B which includes database transaction fees, the total revenue would be $211B/year. Since the TAP verifies and authenticates the product information in the SDB associated with the TAP RN, the use of TAPs would eliminate the economic loss of counterfeit goods of about $.5T/year to $1.2T/year, depending on the information source. So, the net cost of using TAPs is a savings to the industry of anywhere from $300B/year to $1T/year. Plus, they receive the additional benefits of enhanced direct marketing to customers.
